What are the standard check-in and check-out times at Homeland Stay, and is early check-in or late check-out available?
First: Standard check-in time is 01:00 PM (13:00 Hrs) and standard check-out time is 10:00 AM at Homeland Stay, Ahmedabad. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to room availability and must be requested in advance; additional charges may apply based on slot availability.
Indian citizens: valid government photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, or Election Card) for every adult guest. PAN cards and driving licenses are not accepted as address proof.
Foreign nationals: original passport & valid visa, mandatory for C-Form submission.
All guests must complete mandatory online web check-in via the secure link sent before arrival.
What if arrive late after you standard Check-in time?
Prior intimation to host require regarding your late check-in/arrival time. Do web check-in and submit your valid photo ID with address proof, fill up require details online in web check-in form - do before you arrive. On receipt of all valid id and information. Host will communicate you Lock Box (located on first floor - entry) code. Get it smart card key and do self check-in.

Do I get the entire private luxury floor, or are there shared spaces with other guests?
You get 100% exclusive access to the entire first floor of our luxury bungalow at Homeland Stay, Maninagar, Ahmedabad. There are zero shared spaces with other guests or hosts during your stay. Your private booking includes 3 spacious air-conditioned bedrooms with attached modern bathrooms, an air-conditioned living room, and three-sided private balconies with quiet garden views.

Homeland Stay comfortably accommodates group sizes ranging from solo travelers, couples & family/group up to 9 adults. The 3 luxury air-conditioned bedrooms are furnished with premium queen-size beds, high-thread-count linens, and extra plush mattresses. For larger families or groups, comfortable floor mattresses and extra bedding sets are provided upon request to ensure everyone sleeps together comfortably under one private roof.

Is non-vegetarian food (meat, chicken, fish) allowed?
Homeland Stay strictly maintains a pure-vegetarian environment. Vegetarian food and egg preparations are welcome, whether cooked in the kitchen or ordered in. Bringing, storing, or cooking non-vegetarian food of any kind -- meat, chicken, seafood, or fish -- inside the premises is strictly prohibited.
What are my food and meal options?
You have three ways to eat during your stay: cook for yourself using groceries from a nearby store or delivered via Blinkit, BigBasket and similar apps; order in from a nearby restaurant or an online portal like Swiggy or Zomato (only vegetarian or egg dishes may be brought into the property -- no meat, seafood or fish); or use Homeland Stay's own online food menu for authentic Gujarati food, snacks, lunch and dinner.
Is daily housekeeping and cleaning service provided during the stay?
Yes, complimentary daily housekeeping service—including floor brooming, mopping, trash disposal, and complete bathroom sanitization—is provided for all staying guests between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM with guest permission. Place your instruction on door (clean my room or do not disturb)

How frequently are bed linens and bath towels replaced for staying guests?
Fresh, high-thread-count bed linens and freshly laundered bath towels are provided upon arrival for every new reservation. For long-term stays, bath towels and bed linens are automatically refreshed every 7 days, early replace require additional charges.

How is daily garbage collection and waste management handled at Homeland Stay?
Complimentary daily waste pickup is conducted every morning around 8:00 AM. Guests are requested to gather all dry and wet food waste from bedrooms, kitchen, and bathrooms & drop into large green dustbin container placed on the ground floor outside the main entry gate (beside the tree). The municipal waste collection agency clears this bin daily. Guests are required to perform a final waste clearing prior to check-out.

Guests & Visitors
House rules: couples, visitors & pets
Unmarried couples: not permitted. We're a family-oriented property in a residential area.
Visitors: unregistered overnight guests are not allowed. Daytime visitors are welcome in the designated first-floor balcony seating area, 7:00 AM–10:00 PM, and may not enter bedrooms. Overnight guests need advance written approval and incur an additional charge.
Pets: generally not permitted, out of consideration for guests with allergies, unless explicitly agreed in your booking.
Can drivers or helpers stay with us?
We don't offer complimentary accommodation for drivers, helpers, or domestic staff. If you'd like them to stay on the premises, they're treated as an additional guest at standard charges, and a valid photo ID is required at check-in.
What's the process for an additional guest staying overnight?
Send us a written request (WhatsApp or email) from the main booking person in advance — we may approve it with additional charges, or decline. If approved, the additional guest needs to provide photo ID at check-in and check-out, and the main booking person remains responsible for their conduct, and any damage or missing items.

How do I cancel my booking?
Email us at the address on our Contact page with your booking details. The cancellation takes effect from the date we receive your written notification.
Can I modify my booking dates?
Yes — contact us at least 7 days in advance. Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges based on any rate difference.
How long does a refund take to process?
All eligible refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to your original payment method.
How do I make a payment?
Google Pay (GPay), UPI, or online bank transfer. Once your dates are finalized, we'll share the official account details for the transfer.
Property Access & Keys
What smart keys will I receive?
You'll be handed three items on arrival: a small black smart card that unlocks the main door, a large white smart card that activates the electricity, and a key ring with tracking to help keep both cards together and easy to find.
Where can I keep my smart keys during the day?
You can carry all three with you, or leave them in the lock box on the first floor — opposite the staircase entrance — secured with a mechanical code.
What if I lose or damage a smart key?
A replacement fee of ₹2,000 applies for a lost or damaged smart key.

Designated quiet hours at Homeland Stay run from 10:00 PM to 07:00 AM daily. Because the property is located in a peaceful residential neighborhood in Pushpkunj, Maninagar, guests are required to keep noise levels to a minimum and refrain from playing loud music or making disturbances during these night hours.

Occupancy is limited strictly to the registered number of guests confirmed at the time of booking to maintain safety, tranquility, and neighborhood standards.

Is consumption of alcohol, smoking, or illegal substances permitted inside Homeland Stay premises?

The state of Gujarat strictly enforces local prohibition laws, and Homeland Stay maintains a 100% smoke-free and alcohol-free policy across the entire property. Violation of this rule will lead to immediate cancellation of stay without refund and reporting to local authorities.

What is the recommended usage policy for the air conditioning (AC) units at Homeland Stay?
To ensure optimal cooling performance and prevent compressor overload, all room doors and windows must remain tightly closed while the split air-conditioned (AC) units are running. Running AC units with doors or windows left open causes severe electrical strain, cooling failure, and energy waste. Leaving windows open with ACs running is considered a house-rule violation and may incur energy penalty fees or lead to early termination of stay.

Is Homeland Stay safe for solo female travellers and families?
Yes. Safety is a priority here for solo travellers, families, and every guest in between. The main entrance uses an encrypted smart digital lock with a video doorbell, so you can see who is outside before opening the door, and CCTV covers the entry points and shared/open areas of the property — never inside guest rooms.
The first floor has its own dedicated gated entry and private staircase, with motion-sensor lighting along the gate, staircase and entrance for safe movement at night, plus a smoke/fire alarm inside the property. Host Ketan Jani and family live on the ground floor of the same building and are available directly for anything you need throughout your stay.
Is there CCTV surveillance?
Yes — 24-hour CCTV covers all entry points and the common/open areas of the property, for everyone's safety and security.
Are my belongings insured while I stay?
No — we aren't able to take responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings, so please keep an eye on your valuables. We don't provide insurance or compensation for accidents or injuries.
